Information about the appliance
The coolant circuit is tested for seal-tightness. This corresponds to the relevant
safety regulations for electrical appliances.

Preparations

− Remove all packaging material.
− Dispose of the cushion parts of the packaging made from foamed polystyrene
separately.
− Rinse the inside of the appliance and the equipment elements with lukewarm
water, a soft towel and a mild cleaning agent and let them dry.
− Free-standing installation only.
− Set up the appliance in a suitable location on a stable, smooth surface (cf. also
section "Location" on page 9)

Starting up the
appliance
− Connect the appliance to a grounded power outlet. The local power supply voltage
must correspond to the technical specifi cations of the appliance.
An acoustic signal is emitted and the current temperature inside the appliance appears
on the display. After that, the appliance begins cooling its interior.
− Distribute the bottles evenly on the bottle trays
A bottle tray is suitable for storing two standard size wine bottles.
The temperature on the bottom bottle tray is somewhat lower than on the
top bottle tray. Therefore, place bottles that must be cooled the most on the
lower bottle tray.
