Switching the appliance off
− In order to switch off the appliance, unplug it from the outlet.

Risk of electric shock!
There is a risk of electric shock due to live electric parts.
− Before starting any cleaning or maintenance work, unplug
the appliance from the power outlet (do not pull on the
cord, but rather on the power plug). If the plug cannot be
reached, the building circuit breaker must be switched off.
− Do not touch the power plug with wet hands.
PLEASE NOTE!
Risk of damage!
Appliance damage due to improper handling of sensitive
appliance surfaces.
− Sensitive surfaces: Oil and grease may not come in contact
with plastic parts or the door seal, as these surfaces can be
porous and rough.
− Never use sharp, sandy or grainy cleaning agents, or
agents containing acetic acid, soda or solvent. These can
damage the surfaces.
1. Remove all bottles and the bottle trays
2. Clean the surfaces of the appliance and the bottle trays for the bottles using a mild
cleaning agent and a soft towel. Do not include the door seal in this process.
3. Only wipe the seal with clear water, then let it dry.
4. Clean the appliance interior with warm water and household baking soda. We
recommend a ratio of 2 tablespoons of soda per liter of water.
5. Wipe out the collection tray on the bottom of the appliance and clean it with water
and a mild cleaning agent.
