Quartz clock and radio clock:
Power supply for quartz and radio versions
To open the battery compartment, insert a screwdriver into
the opening provided for this purpose and then press it
slightly downward, thus opening the battery compartment.
Please insert two LR20 1.5V mono-cells (33mm x 60mm)
with the right polarity into the battery compartment. As
soon as the clockwork carries voltage, the pointers will
start turning.
Note:
The electric contact can be improved by slight tightening of
the plastic screw.
Quartz clock:
Setting the time of the quartz clock 1005
•
Insert power supply
clock will move to the 12.00 position.
•
Keep key > 5s depressed
clock will run 11 hours forward
LED flashes quickly.
• Stop fast forward about 10 minutes before
the current time by briefly pressing the key.
•
Set the clock step-by-step to current time by briefly
pressing the key.
•
Wait until the reference clock shows the 59th second
of the current minute and then synchronize the clock
with the beginning of the minute again by briefly pressing
the key.
•
Do no longer touch the key. Clock will now run precisely.
Quartz clock 1005 daylight saving time
•
Keep key > 2s depressed
rate.
Quartz clock 1005 standard time
•
Keep key > 5s depressed
Note:
The fast forward should always be started with the 59th second, since each key press will set the
internal time to 0.
Radio clock:
Radio clock 1005
After inserting the batteries, the radio clock is set automatically to the current radio time.
The radio reception remains switched on until the clockwork has received two valid telegrams.
Under suitable reception conditions, the clock should run at the current time 2 - 3 minutes after
being put into operation.
If the clock is unable to set the time after several attempts, you must change your location,
since the clock cannot receive a DCF77 radio signal at its current location.
