Mounting Method 2: Wet Concrete
a. Wrap Base in plastic bag, as shown in Diagram B, to prevent concrete form getting onto
base. Thread hardware on anchor bolts completely, as shown in Diagram B. Make small holes in
bottom of plastic bag to allow each anchor bolts to pass through base.
b. Insert the supplied anchor bolts through plastic bag into the post base and secure with hardware
as shown in Diagram B. Be careful not to over tighten hex nuts as excess pressure may cause
damage to post base. Use tape to patch any holes in bag.
c. Set the base and anchor bolt assembly into the wet concrete, as shown in Diagram C, by gently
wiggling the base while pressing downward until the bottom of the base is flush with the concrete.
Make certain that concrete has completely covered the anchor bolts.
d. Check the base to see that it is level in both directions.
e. Leave base (wrapped in plastic bag) and anchor bolt assembly attached until concrete has cured.
f. Allow concrete to cure 24-48 hours before assembling clock on base.

Mounting Method 3: Existing Concrete Pad
a. Using the anchor bolt template, which is
included inside the box, mark the location of
each mounting hole using a concrete drill bit.
Once the holes are drilled, slide concrete anchors
inside each hole and begin to attach mounting
bolt and hardware (as shown in Diagram D).
b. Leave approximately 1" - 1.25" above the
cement allowing enough threads to mount base
to ground.
