IMPORTANT

installer. Dryer manufacturers specify metal
venting.
• Poor performance, increased drying times and
lint build-up can result if duct is too long or
crushed. Clear all existing venting of lint prior
to installing new venting.
1. Measure the distance between the dryer exhaust pipe
and the vent tailpipe. Add 12" for every 90˚angle.
2. Using both hands, stretch the semi-rigid duct evenly
to the length measured.
Dryer Connection
1. Place the clamp on the duct. Fit the duct over the
dryer exhaust pipe. Position the clamp so it covers
both the slot in the duct and the dryer exhaust pipe.
Tighten the clamp.
Wall Connection
1. Place the clamp on the duct. Fit the duct over the
vent tailpipe. Position the clamp so it covers both
the slot in the duct and the vent tailpipe. Tighten the
clamp.
2. After installation, turn on the dryer and check outside
the vent hood to ensure it is clear and functioning
properly.
