Tie Down Strap Set with Quick Lock

objects.
Important information before use
• In selecting and using tie down strap, consideration shall be given to the required tie down strap
capacity, taking into account the mode of use and the nature of the load to be secured.
• The selected tie down strap shall be strong enough and of the correct length for the mode of use.
• The tie down strap is suitable for use in temperature range of -20°C to +90°C.
• Changing the environmental temperature during transport may affect the forces in the tie down strap.
Check the tension force after entering warm areas.
• Tie down strap shall be rejected if they show any signs of damage like tears, cuts, nicks and breaks
in load bearing fibers and retaining stitches, deformations resulting from exposure to heat.
• If there is any accidental contact with chemical products, a tie down strap shall be removed from
service and the manufacturer or supplier shall be consulted.
• A visual inspection before and after each use is recommended.
• Tie down strap shall never be used when knotted.
• The tie down strap shall be protected against friction, abrasion and damage from loads with sharp
edges by using protective sleeves and/or corner protectors.
Operation
1. Pull the tie down strap through the quick lock, like shown in fig.1.

2. Tighten the tie down strap to secure the load.
3. Secure the excess tie down strap in an appropriate way without knotting it.
4. Push the arm of the quick lock to release the tie down strap, like shown in fig.2.
Be careful, the tie down strap will declamp abruptly!
Before doing so, make sure that the load does not fall down even without a secure and
make sure that no persons are endangered.

5. Before attempting to unload of load its web lashings shall be released and removed completely so that
it can be lifted freely from the load platform without being caught on the tie down strap.
6. Roll up the strap for storage and fix the roller with a rubber band or similar.
