General
The overvoltage protector harmful voltage spikes during welding and is with all modern
appliances such as ARGON ARC Welding, MIG, TIG and plasma cutter usable. It offers the sensitive
parts of the on-board electronics such as Modules of the injection, comfort and safety systems and
prevent the destruction of these. But also built Telephone and hifi systems are safe from destruction.
Operation
1. Connect red wire to the positive pole terminal of the battery.
2. Connect black wire to the negative pole terminal of the battery.
3. If the green LED lights, the overvoltage protector is activated and the charge is in normal range,
otherwise the battery should be replaced.
Safety Instructions
This overvoltage protector is used only for 12 V systems.
Welding work on vehicles with airbags in addition the claims of the Vehicle
manufacturer must be observed.
Do not connect overvoltage protector without supervision.
Always remove both terminals (plus and minus) from the battery, if you interrupting
the work.
Environmental Protection
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools,
accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed
of in a manner which is compatible with the environment.
Disposal
Dispose of this product at the end of its working life in compliance with the EU
Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment. When the product is no longer
required, it must be disposed of in an environmentally protective way. Contact your
local solid waste authority for recycling information or give the product for disposal to
BGS technic or to the dealer where you purchased the product.
