Observe absolutely the following safety instructions when using PowerPack as
230 V inverter:
- Max. current consumption of connected appliances is 10A.
- Check the maximum current consumption of the unit being supplied before
connecting to the PowerPack .
- Use the 230 v cable which is delivered with the item you want to connect to
the PowerPack. One side of the connecting cable must have a Euro-plug,
which fits into the Euro-bush of the PowerPack. (see
- Highly dangerous 230 V voltage lies against the plug of the inverter! Therefore
the same safety regulations should be observed with its use as apply with all
other appliances which work with this voltage!
- The inverter is only suitable for the operation of 230 V consuming units which
are provided with a so-called Euro-plug! Units with earthing-contact-plugs
must not be connected!
- Do not insert any other objects than the suitable plugs into the socket of the
inverter!
- The blowing of the safety device (fuse) indicates an overload of the inverter!
Observe the max. power output of the unit and connect only consuming-units
with appropriate power consumption! The frequent blowing of the safety
device (e. g. at consuming units with poor power consumption) indicates
a malfunction of the inverter! In this case send the unit immediately to the
service!
- It must be observed when installing units with electrical drive (e.g. power drill,
refrigerator etc.) that they often need higher capacity than indicated on the
type plate.
Use of PowerPack as a 230 V voltage source
- Switch off the unit that is to be supplied with 230 V tension.
- Insert the plug of the connecting cable into the socket of the PowerPack.
- Switch on the inverter with the operating switch (see B 1).
- Switch on the unit again.
