1. SAFETY WARNINGS

ො This appliance is not intended for being used by children from 0 to 8 years old. This ap-
pliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety. Children should not play with the appliance. Clean-
ing and maintenance shall not be performed by children.
ො For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a
rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA is advisable in the electrical cir-
cuit. Ask your installer for advice.
ො If the power cord is damaged, in order to avoid risks, it should be replaced by the man-
ufacturer, maintenance department or similar sector professionals.
ො This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate
remote-control system.
ො Only the appropriate connector must be used.
ො Do not use attachments not recommended or supplied for this product.
ො Disconnect the appliance from the power supply if it is left unattended and before as-
sembling, disassembling or cleaning.
ො To avoid risk of electric shock, do not immerse the equipment in water or use it in damp
conditions.
ො Always keep the unit on a dry and flat surface.
ො Household use only. Do not use it for commercial purposes.
ො Designed for indoor use. Do not use them outdoors unless specifically mentioned in the
instruction manual.
ො Do not let the power cord to hang over the edge of the table or work surface since a
sharp edge can damage the cable over a period of time. Do not let it get tangled or
come into contact with a hot surface.
ො The units can be cleaned with a damp cloth and immediately wiped dry. Do not use
detergents or chemical cleaning agents to clean the unit.
ො Do not knock or shake the machine when operating, otherwise it could be shut off
automatically.
