Functions
Room temperature:
A suitable room temperature is important for adults and babies. The
thermometer recognizes the room temperature.
• See "Use of the thermometer" to learn how to get the room
temperature.
Ear temperature:
The thermometer is designed for practical use and should not replace a
visit to the doctor. Always compare measurements with your regular body
temperature. This seems a strange sentence to have here. It has nothing
to do with the ear temperature.
• See "Use of the thermometer" to learn how to measure body
temperature in the ear.
Forehead temperature:
The thermometer is designed for practical use and should not replace a
visit to the doctor. Always compare measurements with your regular body
temperature. This seems a strange sentence to have here. It has nothing
to do with the ear temperature.
• See "Use of the thermometer" to learn how to measure body
temperature on the forehead.
Scan mode:
The scan mode shows a surface temperature which is different from the
body temperature. It is useful to monitor the temperature of an object
such as baby's milk.
• See "Use of the thermometer" to learn how to measure the
temperature of an object.
Fever alarm:
If the thermometer detects a body temperature of more than 37.5°C when
measuring by the ear or forehead, there will be a long beep sound
followed by three short beep sounds which warn of potential fever.
Last reading:
When you get a new temperature reading in ear mode, the last reading
will be shown on the screen (at top right corner) with the icon.
