PRODUCT INFORMATION

With the purchase of this item of S-GARD® protective clothing, you have chosen a valua-
ble and carefully manufactured product. Adhere to these instructions for your own safety.
Keep these instructions in a safe place and hand them over together with the product if
you pass on the product to another party.
Restrictions of use
The rescue service uniform is an item of protective clothing which protects rescue ser-
vice personnel during rescue missions and associated tasks. The rescue service uniform
provides additional protection against rain. It protects the neck, torso, arms (down to the
wrists) and legs (down to the ankles). The protective effect depends on the protection and
high visibility class. For the full protective effect, the protective clothing must always be
worn closed and together with supplementary protective equipment (gloves, boots).
The protective clothing meets the requirements of GUV-R 2106:2005-10 - Use of person-
al protective equipment during rescue service. The protective clothing is not clothing
which provides protection against infections as per 4.5 of GUV-R 2106:2005-10. Further-
more, the protective clothing does not provide any protection against flames and on-
ly provides limited protection against flying sparks. Holes will develop in the clothing in
the event of contact with flames.
Disinfection
The protective clothing meets the care requirements of a disinfectant laundering pro-
cess as per GUV-R 2106:2005-10.
Visibility
The protective clothing meets the requirements as per EN ISO 20471. Protective cloth-
ing with fluorescent background material only ensures daytime visibility. Protective
clothing to which reflective material is applied only ensures appropriate nighttime visi-
bility. Protective clothing with fluorescent background material and to which reflective
strips are applied thus ensures appropriate daytime and nighttime visibility.
Any protective equipment worn in addition may be detrimental to visibility.
Rain tower test
Protective clothing with GORE-TEX® membrane technology meets the strict specifica-
tions of EN 14360:2004 regarding water resistance.
Test results are available on request.
