This 4349N trim is compatible with Aculux 3 1/4" TC43N series, TC943 series, TC943M-MR16 series and IC43N series recessed
housings. This trim provides the user with high adjustment angles in flat or sloped ceilings when using MR16 and CMH MR16 lamps.
Step 1. Install the Aculux recessed housing, supply power to fixture, and install
finished ceiling per the instruction sheet supplied with the housing.
Step 2. Identify the object of interest that is to be illuminated. Using the Acu-Aim™
geared adjustment mechanism in the Aculux recessed housing, set the tilt
adjustment at 20˚, and the rotation adjustment opposite the object of interest (see
figure 1). For clarification on how to operate the rotation and tilt, refer to the
instructions shipped with recessed housing.
Step 3. Remove lampholder assembly from recessed housing by pulling outward
to disengage retaining springs. Attach the lampholder assembly to the trim and
install lamp as shown in figure 2.

Step 4. Attach socket (from housing) to lamp and install trim into housing in the
orientation shown in figure 3.
Step 5. The beam angle of the lamp can be adjusted from 15˚ to 75˚ with
respect to the ceiling plane. To adjust, loosen the lock screw inside the trim with
a screwdriver and tilt the mirror holder to the desired position. Tighten the lock
screw when desired position is achieved (see figure 4). Note: Trim surfaces will
be hot. Take caution when adjusting.
