Measure the awning width with a ruler and note the bracket position. Draw a horizontal line in the position of required height as shown in the diagram by using a long ruler, spirit level and chalk.

Slide the remaining bolt washers over the bolt heads and tighten the 17mm nuts securely. NOTE It might be necessary to tap the wall bolts into position with a wooden faced mallet as the fit might be fairly tight.
