accurate recording of ambient temperatures,
the thermometer should be positioned away
from direct sunlight and draughts.
THERMOMETER TEMPERATURES
The UK Workplace Health, Safety and Welfare
Regulations 1992 requires the temperature in
the workroom to be at least 16 °C/61 °F unless
much of the work involves severe physical effort
in which case the temperature should be at least
13 °C/55 °F.
