IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
1.
Read all the safety features and instructions carefully before operating.
2.
During use, DO NOT touch the top, sides or any other hot surfaces of the product
as they get hot during use. THE HOT DOG TOASTER™ basket also becomes
hot during use. DO NOT TOUCH IT.
3.
A pair of tweezers is provided with THE HOT DOG TOASTER™. You can use
these to remove hot dogs from the basket.
4.
DO NOT Immerse THE HOT DOG TOASTER™, cord or plug in water or any
other liquid.
5.
Close supervision is necessary when this or any appliance is used by or near
children.
6.
Unplug from outlet when not in use, before removing parts and before cleaning.
7.
DO NOT operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or if the appliance
has been damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to the nearest repair
shop for examination or repair or send back to company as stated in this booklet
in the warranty.
8.
Do not place product on or near fire, hot gas or electric burner or in a heated
oven.
9.
To disconnect, press STOP button to avoid over cooking the hot dogs.
10.
Do not let the cord hang over the edge of the table or counter top or touch hot
surfaces.
11.
THE HOT DOG TOASTER is used for toasting only two standard size hot dogs
and two hot dog buns. This product is not designed for professional use or for
any other use.
12.
Failure to follow these instructions may involve a risk of fire or electrical shock or
may even damage the product.
13.
DO NOT try to remove the hot dogs or the buns when the toasting is on or when
it is plugged in.
14.
ALWAYS use the tweezers provided to remove hot dogs and buns.

A FIRE MAY OCCUR, if while operating THE HOT DOG TOASTER™ is covered
by or touching materials like curtains, towels, bed sheets, draperies, walls, etc.
16.
A unit that is plugged into an outlet should not be left unattended.

A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulting
from becoming entangled or tripping over a long cord.
NOTE: During the first few times used, you may notice a slight odor as with most new
cooking appliances. This is normal.
