3. Go outside to the passenger side windshield and in front of the bottom side of the windshield you will see two screw caps at
the top of the cowling. Using the Blade or Standard screwdriver gently pry off the screw caps. Once the caps are removed, use
the Phillips-head screwdriver to remove the two screws. (Fig 2)
4. Open the hood. Now gently pull back the rubber weather strip from the front of the passenger side cowling. (Fig 3)
5. On the bottom of the same cowling you removed the two screws, you will see two Torx screws. Remove these by using the T-20
Torx driver to unscrew them. (Fig 4)
6. Remove the passenger side cowling. (Fig 5)
7. You should now see the filter and housing. Use the Standard blade screwdriver and pry the two clips securing each end of the
housing loose. (Fig 6)
8. Slide the filter and housing straight up and remove. (Fig 7)
9. Remove the dirty filter from the housing. (Fig 8)

11. Reinstall the new filter and housing into the vehicle and use a Standard blade screwdriver to reengage the two clips on each side.
12. Put the passenger side cowl back in place and reinstall the two T-20 Torx screws and tighten them.
13. Reinstall the weather strip back in place and make sure it is secure.
14. Close the hood and reinstall the two top screws that you removed earlier along with the caps. The caps should just snap back
on top of the head of the screw.
