5. Maintenance
Keep to the maintenance intervals indicated, in order to ensure fault-free operation.
Disconnect the tool from the compressed air system before preforming any maintenance work or repairs.
5.1

Maintenance intervals

5.1.1

Every week

• Check the tool for leaks and damage and make sure that all parts are present and all screws are tight.
5.1.2

Every month

• Clean the tool with compressed air.
• Lightly grease the moving parts (grease: order no. YB0123).

Modifying the plug connection for compressed air connection

The hog ring tool has two possibilities for connecting to the compressed air supply.
• Via the handle ( Standard )
• Via the top of the cylinder (closed by a blind plug G1/8)
If necessary, replace the blind plug with the plug connection (see 3/1 description).

Repair

Repairs should only be preformed by agents of the manufacturer or by other competent persons using original
TyTecker replacement parts.
8.

Warranty

This tool has been developed and manufactured according to the latest level of technology. We offer the first
purchaser a warranty in accordance with legal requirements on operation, material and workmanship. This does
not include normal wear. The warranty does not apply if it is apparent that the tool has not been properly used or
force has been applied, if it has been repaired by a this party or replacement parts that are not original replace-
ment parts have been fitted. The warranty extends to repair or replacement, as we choose. We do not accept any
warranty beyond the scope of our supply because we have no influence on the skilled and proper use of the tool.

Disposal

Take the tool, packaging and accessories to an environmentally friendly recycling centre (in accordance
with European Parliament and Council Directive 2002/96/EG of 27th January 2003).
