Basic Functions (cont'd)
Air Velocity or Temperature Measurement (Single Location)
1. Turn the unit on. When "vel" appears in the upper left corner and the
temperature appears in the lower right corner, the unit is ready to take a
measurement.
2. Place the unit in the airstream.
Minimum, Maximum, and Average (Single Location)
1. If the unit is on, press and hold the MIN/MAX REC SINGLE-POINT button
until the unit beeps twice to erase any stored data.
OR
Turn the unit on. When "vel" appears in the upper left corner and the
temperature appears in the lower right corner, the unit is ready to take a
measurement.
2. Place the unit in the airstream.
3. Press the MIN/MAX REC SINGLE-POINT button.
REC and AVG will appear on the display.
4. Press the HOLD button before removing the unit from the airstream.
5. Press the MIN/MAX REC SINGLE-POINT button to review the stored data,
which will appear in this order:
* Instantaneous Measurement • Minimum • Maximum • Average
* The measurement taken when the HOLD button was pressed.
Automatic Power-Off
The ANM-50 shuts off after approximately 20 minutes of inactivity to conserve
battery power. To bypass this feature, turn the unit off and follow this sequence:
1. Press and hold the HOLD button.
2. Press the ON-OFF RESET button and release.
A lowercase letter "n" will appear on the display.
