The equipment is not isolated from the mains supply by the
ON/OFF operating switch!
Danger through 'live' electrical components. Never touch
electrical components and contacts if the boiler is not iso-
lated from the mains supply. Mortal danger!
Only qualified persons are permitted to work on electrical
components.
1. Make a note of any changes of parameters (e.g. heating
power, Tvmax, output 1, input 1, address setting etc.) com-
pared to the factory settings.
2. Disconnect the device from the power supply
3. Open the housing cover
4. Unscrew the controller and hang it up in the maintenance
position.
5. Pull off the rotary knobs for the operating switch and tem-
perature selector switch towards you.
6. Unscrew the rear cover of the controller housing.
7. Unplug the cables
8. Release the latching lugs and remove the printed circuit
board. Disconnect the cables for the illuminated ring and the
eBus.
9. Parameter plug:
If there is a parameter plug from the old printed
circuit board, it must NOT be plugged onto the
new printed circuit board!
The appropriate parameter plug must be plugged onto the
replacement printed circuit board, depending on the COB type.
(Select parameter plug from the spare part set.)
COB 15
Parameter plug COB15 Mat.number 27 44 767
COB 20
No parameter plug required!
COB 29
Parameter plug COB29 Mat.number 27 44 768
COB 40
Parameter plug COB40 Mat.number 27 44 668
Care must be taken that the correct parameter
plug is always installed. There is otherwise a
danger of damage to the equipment.
Peel off the 'Mat. no.' sticker attached to the transformer of
the new PCB and stick it over the old sticker on the side of the
controller housing.
