If a fixing screw comes out, push it back in again.
The clip in the lid releases itself from the side panel.

Lift the lid slightly at the front and disconnect its earth connection inside the lid on the right-hand side.

Remove the lid, see Fig. 9, (B).

Punch-mark the lid.

Drill pilot holes with a 2 mm drill bit (1), see Fig. 10.

Use a 3 mm drill bit to finish drilling the holes (2), see Fig. 10.

Remove swarf.
A
Stick 4 x seals onto the underside of the frame lined up with the drilled holes (1), see Fig. 11.

Position and align the frame.
A
Position 2 x rear foot holders and screw tight with 4 M4 x 12 countersunk screws (1), see Fig. 12.

Position 2 x front foot holders and screw tight with 4 M4 x 12 countersunk screws (2), see Fig. 12.

Position the lid, lift it slightly at the front and plug in its earth connection inside the lid on the right-hand side.
A
Fit the lid.
Fitting the tumble dryer
A
Heat-pump dryers: Empty the condensate container drawer.
A
Adjust the dryer feet so that they protrude by 18 mm, see Fig. 14.

Put the tumble dryer into the frame on top of the washing machine.
A
Lift the tumble dryer up at the front and slide its rear feet into the holders.
A
Slot the front feet of the tumble dryer into the holders at the front.
A
Check the size of the gap between the top edge of the frame and the side panels of the fitted tumble dryer,
e.g. using a sheet of paper. The tumble dryer should not touch the frame.
A
Carry out appropriate electrical safety checks.
