• Check to make sure that the total weight of the following luggage is within the maximum load of the vehicle
roof side.
- The ROOF BASKET itself weights 7.7 kg.
- Weight of loaded luggage (Weigh these yourself).
• Be careful not to overload the rack as it can warp the vehicle roof panel or cause the loaded luggage to fall
off .
• The size of luggage that can be loaded on the ROOF BASKET is as follows. Follow it carefully.
- Length: Within 300 mm past the front and back of the MULTI ROOF RACK.
- Width: Within the width of the ROOF BASKET.
• Load luggage so that it does not interfere with opening and closing doors, passengers embarking or disem-
barking, opening and closing the hood, or taking luggage in and out. Be careful and work in a group of 2 or
more, as luggage must be loaded and unloaded above your head.
• Do not load luggage on top of FRAME (LEFT/RIGHT) [1] or FRAME (FRONT/REAR) [2] .
• Do not load luggage in the unbalanced manner. Be sure that the loaded luggage stays balanced between
FRAME (LEFT/RIGHT) [1] and FRAME (FRONT/REAR) [2] .

• If you fasten loaded luggage with a rope, do not let the rope or hook catch on FRAME (LEFT/ RIGHT) [1] or
FRAME (FRONT/REAR) [2] .

• When driving, the vehicle or loaded luggage shaking can cause parts to come loose. Before driving, tighten
each of the bolts with the designated torque (4.0 Nm), and fix loaded luggage in place securely.
• Regardless of whether or not there is loaded luggage, when the ROOF BASKET is loaded, be careful about
driving and avoid driving that necessitates sudden turns, starts, or stops. Especially be careful to control your
speed when driving on rough roads, sharp turns, in strong cross winds, or oncoming winds.
• If driving requires sudden maneuvers, stop the vehicle in a safe place check that loaded luggage and the
ROOF BASKET are fixed in place securely, and fix them again if necessary.
• When you have the ROOF BASKET on the vehicle, and in places such as tunnels where vehicle height
is limited, only drive through after checking that it is within the height limit.
• When the ROOF BASKET is mounted, the vehicle cannot be washed inside an automatic car wash.
