Before loading the machine and before starting a
programme
- Check that the mobile unit is correctly docked to the water path in
the chamber.
- Are the inserted modules correctly connected to the water supply
of the mobile unit?
 Risk of fire due to overheating
When the APLW 511 mobile unit is used without modules, all water
connections are closed. During drying this will cause a build-up of
hot air. The drying units can overheat and catch fire.
The APLW 511 mobile unit must only be used without modules in
programmes that do not include a drying programme block.

Reprocessing programmes

New reprocessing programmes adapted for the mobile unit's loading
templates are available for the APLW 511.
The new reprocessing programmes are available from the manufac-
turer of the cleaning machine.
The factory default setting assigns the standard programmes for the
PLW 8615, PLW 8616 and PLW 8617 cleaning machines to the A 503
mobile unit. The standard programs must be copied and adapted for
the APLW 511 mobile unit.

Modules

Up to 9 modules on 3 levels can be accommodated in the APLW 511
mobile unit. Among other things, the possible number of modules de-
pends on the height of the load items on the bottom and middle
levels of the mobile unit.
Examples:
For reprocessing long pipettes, 3 modules are placed on the bottom
level.
For reprocessing small items of laboratory glassware, 3 modules can
be placed on each level.
For reprocessing phials, one A 605 module can be placed on each
level. The three A 605 modules must be arranged diagonally, not one
on top of the other. A 620, A 621 or A 622 modules can be added in
the available space on each level.
