4. TROUBLESHOOTING

This chapter will help you to solve common general problems
related to the operation of your equipment. If a problem occurs, never
attempt to open the cover or repair the device. Please read this chapter
before contacting a technician. If the problem still persists, consult
your nearest service dealer or contact Brigmton.
No sound and/or image
Make sure that the device is on, and the power cable is connected
(and not damaged) correctly to the wall socket.
Make sure that the audio/video connections are correct between
your DVD device and your TV. Check the selected video input signal in
your TV screen.
Try pressing the N/P button to select the optimal TV system for your
TV screen.
Picture, but no sound
Check the audio settings from your DVD equipment.
Make sure that the audio connections between your DVD device and
your TV screen or audio amplifier are correct and the cables are not
damaged.
The device is not muted. Press the MUTE button from your remote
control to check it.
