1. Clean Infant's skin and dry. Skin prep pads may be applied to clean
and prep the application area and the endotracheal tube. Fan dry for 20
seconds.
2. Peel the Baby Tape Plus from the card (See Figure 1). Align the center
of the small tabs directly above the endotracheal tube (See Firgure 2).
3. Secure the Baby Tape Plus by starting under the nose, gently pressing
the large wings to the infant's upper lip and cheeks in an outward direction.
Apply gentle pressure with warm hands to the upper lip and cheeks to
initiate adhesion. Hold in place for 30-45 seconds.

4. Wrap the short tab counter clockwise around the endotracheal tube

(See Figure 2).
5. Wrap the long tab clockwise around the endotracheal tube, overlapping
the first short tab (see Figure 3). Make a small release tab at the end of
the long tab to ease removal by folding over the edge (See Figure 4).
6. The Baby Tape Plus can be trimmed to fit the baby's cheeks (See
Figure 5).
7. Periodically inspect the Baby Tape Plus. Replace every 48 hours or
3 more frequent if soiled or the adhesion is compromised.
8. The center strips of Baby Tape Plus may be used to secure NG, OG
and nasal cannula's to the infant (See Figure 6). Trim the strip to fit the
tube. Place the tape on clean, dry skin and adhere the tube.
Caution:
Do not use water based skin prep to clean the skin prior to application. Moisture, oils or lotions

may adversely affect the adhesion of the Baby Tape Plus. Discontinue immediately if skin
irritation occurs. Any serious incident that has occurred in relation to this device should be
