Extinguishing Bio-Ethanol
Never extinguish the fire with water!
It's best to burn the fire compartment until the Bio-Ethanol is empty, so that when
reigniting the Bio-Ethanol it will be safe enough.
Furthermore, it is also could avoids the smell of alcohol spreading in the
room.
1. Place the fire killer directly on top of the fire opening in order to extinguish the fire.
2. Leave the fire compartment opening closed and wait until the fireplace is cooled
down; it needs at least 30 minutes to cool down.
3. Must remember to dispose of the Bio-Ethanol, which is still be insert in the fire
compartment. When dispose it, do not use wastewater ways (toilette, sink, and the
like); rather dispose of it at a collection point for hazardous substances.
Adding more Bio-Ethanol
Do not add Bio-Ethanol on to an active fire or into the fire compartment if it
is still hot!!!
1. Allow the fireplace to cool down for at least 15-20 minutes with the fire compartment
closed, after the fire has gone out or has been used up as described under
"Extinguishing Bio-Ethanol".
2. Then refill the fire compartment (for this see "Adding Bio-Ethanol")
3. Light up the Bio-Ethanol as described under "Igniting the Bio-Ethanol".
When filling Bio-Ethanol don't exceed the
maximum indication within the burner
