• Be sure to disconnect the power supply before dismantling / reassembling or adjusting the
product.
• To avoid danger, if the appliance is damaged contact our Customer Service team or send the
appliance to one of our authorised service centres for replacement, and do not attempt to
replace it without our authorisation.
• Do not direct the hot air stream at the same surface for too long.
• Do not direct the hot air stream at persons or animals.
• Never look into the air opening/nozzle.
• Never use the heat gun near flammable gases or combustible materials.
• Be aware that heat can be conducted to flammable materials that are out of sight.
• Do not leave the unit unattended when it is turned on.
• CAUTION: Fire hazard! Heat can be conducted to combustible materials hidden behind
coverings, in blankets, floors, or cavities, and ignite them. Inspect the work area before starting
work and, if in doubt, refrain from using the heat gun. Unattended operation of the heat gun
can cause fire on the objects that are nearby. The device must be monitored at all times
during operation. When allowing the unit to cool down after it has been turned off, always
place it in an upright and standing position. Allow the unit to cool completely.
• When working with plastics, paints or similar materials, gases develop which are highly
flammable and can lead to explosions. Always be prepared for possible flames and have
suitable fire extinguishers ready.
• CAUTION: Danger of poisoning! When working with plastics, paints or similar materials, gases
develop which can be aggressive or toxic. Avoid inhalation of vapors, even if they seem
harmless. Always ensure good ventilation of the work area or wear a respirator.
• WARNING: Risk of injury! The hot air jet can injure persons or animals. Touching the heating
element tube or the nozzle will cause skin burns. Keep children and other persons away from
the unit. Do not touch the heating element tube or nozzle when hot. Do not use the device
as a hair dryer. It generates much more heat than hair dryers. Do not use the device to heat
liquids or to dry scopes or materials that can be damaged when exposed to hot air.
