Measuring Ear Temperature
1. When using the thermometer for the first time, move the battery's
insulating piece away.
2. Take the probe cap off from the thermometer before measuring the ear
temperature.
The ambient temperature is higher
than 40.0ºC (104.0ºF) or lower than
10.0ºC (50.0ºF).
An error occurs when data is being
read from or written to the memory,
or the temperature correction is not
complete.
When the battery voltage is lower
than 2.5V ± 0.1V, the low battery
symbol will appear on the display.
Please replace the batteries.
