Distance from Target (cont'd)
Distance to Spot Size
The distance to spot size is a ratio that provides the appropriate distance to the target. The
ratio is stated in a nominal value for the focus distance, which is 0.9 m (36") from the unit.
Use the illustrations shown here or the decals on the side of the unit to determine the
distance-to-spot-size ratio for each application.
The nominal distance-to-spot-size (D:S) ratios at the focus points are as follows:
• The TG-150 has a D:S of 12:1.
• The TG-250 has a D:S of 30:1.
• The TG-350 has a D:S of 50:1.
