1. Lower exhaust– Using an exhaust hanger removal tool, lower exhaust muffler by removing (3) rearmost rubber hangers. A spray of lubricant or soapy water on rubber
hangers makes them slide off metal pins more easily. NOTE: Be sure that exhaust is properly supported before removing rubber hangers.
2. Lower spare tire – Lower down the spare tire according to owner's manual.

3. Remove electric harness clip – Using a plastic trim tool, remove (1) electric
harness clip from the bottom of frame rail on driver side.
