Useful tips
•
Dry your ingredients before putting them in the deep fryer, especially fresh fries. Ingredients that are
too moist can make the oil bubble and may cause it to spill over the sides.
•
Wait until the appliance has finished preheating before placing food in the basket(s).
•
When cooking frozen or deep frozen ingredients, remove the frost and ice crystals which can cause
the oil to bubble and scalding splashes of oil to be ejected.
•
Make sure that all the ingredients are approximately the same size so that they cook evenly. Do not
use food that is too large.
•
Do not overload the baskets.
•
Some ingredients may be covered in breadcrumbs or covered in batter for frying.
•
Remember to drain the ingredients well once the cooking time has elapsed.
•
Make sure the room is well ventilated when the appliance is in use.
