TROUBLESHOOTING
To avoid risk of electric shock, do not disassemble or attempt to repair the unit on your own. Return the unit to Dupray for examination,
repair or replacement. All service is to be performed by authorized professionals of Dupray service centers.
PROBLEM
No steam is released through the
steam iron.
The iron soleplate remains cold.
Water drops are leaking from the
soleplate.
Dirty steam is coming out of iron.
Yellowing and/or melting of the
plastic.

POSSIBLE CAUSE
A.
Boiler activation button
B.
Boiler is empty.
C.
Unit is not plugged in.
D.
Steam pressure is set to low.
E.
Generator is not fully heated.
A.
Iron activation button
is not on.
B.
Thermostatic control is set at minimum.
A.
The soleplate temperature is too low to
iron with steam.
B.
The steam iron is not fully heated yet.
A.
There may be scale in the boiler.
A.
Leaving the iron on the iron rest at high
temperature.

Press the boiler activation button
B.
Add 1L (34oz) of water inside the boiler.
C.
Plug unit into outlet.
D.
Adjust steam pressure accordingly.
E.
Wait for SteamReady
and the thermostat light (D) to turn OFF.
A.
Press the iron activation button .
B.
Turn the thermostatic control (C) dial to the
appropriate setting.
A.
Increase the temperature on the thermostatic
control (C).
B.
Wait for the thermostat light (D) light to come on.
A.
Clean the boiler as per the
enclosed instructions in the Maintenance
section on page 10.

Do not leave the iron on the iron rest for long
periods of time while it is still hot or in use.
