Special safety instructions

1. Certain parts of the coffee machine may stay hot for a
certain time after use. Do not touch the hot surfaces. Risk of
burns.
2. Do not place the coffee pot in the microwave oven to heat
the coffee.
3. Do not place the coffee pot on a cold surface when hot.
4. Do not operate your coffee maker without water.
5. The coffee maker is only compatible with ground coffee. Add
only ground coffee to the coffee maker.
6. Do not dissassemble the thermal carafe.
7. Do not immerse the thermal carafe in water or any other
liquid, as water may penetrate between the walls of the
carafe. When the carafe is full of coffee, it should be kept
vertical in order to prevent leaks.
8. The lower section of the appliance and the base of the
thermal carafe become very hot when brewing coffee.
9. Use cold water only when filling the reservoir of the
appliance.
10. Do not use the carafe is the handle is loose or weakened.
11. To brew several pots of coffee, allow the appliance to cool
before refilling the reservoir with cold water. Leave the
coffee machine switched off for around 5 minutes between
