Intended Use

The appliance is designed for the cooling of pre-cooled or for
keeping hot dishes and beverages warm.
It is intended for use in the household and in similar applica-
tions, such as:
In personal kitchen areas in shops, offices and other work
areas;
By guests in hotels, motels and other accommodation;
In bed and breakfast accommodation;
To use for camping;
In motor vehicles.
It is not intended for the following use:
In agriculture;
In catering and similar wholesale use.
This appliance may not be exposed to the rain.
The manufacturer does not assume any liability for damages
that may result due to improper use.

Unpacking the appliance

1. Remove the appliance from its packaging.
2. Remove all the packaging material such as plastic bags,
filler material, cable ties and cardboard packaging.
3. Check that all parts are supplied in the package.
NOTE:
The appliance may still contain dust or production residues.
We recommend that you clean the appliance as described
under "Cleaning".
Instructions
General information
Never place the appliance next to naked flames or other
heat sources.
The lid is locked when the handle is pushed back and
when carrying.
To open the cooler box, pull the handle forward.
Do not open the lid more often than required. Do not leave
the lid open more often than is necessary. This will influ-
ence the duration of the cooling or keeping warm.

The duration of the cooling or keeping warm is also depen-
dent on the ambient temperature.
The appliance is not suitable for permanent operation.
The appliance can be connected to two different energy
sources.

Alternating current 220 – 240 V~ or
-
Direct current 12 V
You can switch the appliance on and off using the ~ AC –
OFF –
DC and COLD – OFF – HOT switches. Both
switches must be switched on at the required setting to
ensure that the appliance functions properly.
The respective indicator lamp will indicate the mode:
-
Green for cooling
-
Red for keeping warm
Do not switch directly from one operating mode into the
other. If you would like to change the operating mode, turn
the appliance off. Wait about 30 minutes before you switch
it to the other operating mode.
Cooling
You may keep cold foods cold for several hours.
Turn the switch to the "COLD" position.
For best results, only store already cooled food / bever-
ages in the cooler. Select a place of use that is protected
from direct sunlight.
Keeping warm
You may keep hot food / beverages warm for several
hours, maximum 50 to 60 °C.
Set the switch to the "HOT" position.
The Peltier element will switch off and on at intervals to
maintain the temperature. The red control light will be lit up
when the Peltier element is in operation and when the fan
is running.
The appliance is not designed for reheating. Cold food will
only warm up slightly after about 2 hours.

Using the Appliance

Make sure that both switches are in the "OFF" position.
Connection to the alternating current
1. Remove the power cord for the direct current, if necessary.
2. Check to make sure that the mains voltage that you want
to use is 220 – 240 V~.
3. Plug the power cord for alternating current into the ~ AC
socket on the appliance (see Fig.)
4. Connect the device to a properly installed earthed socket.
