2 Items supplied and packaging

Please check first of all that the device is complete and is not damaged in any way. In case of doubt, do
not use the appliance and contact your dealer or your service centre.
The following parts are included:
• 1 Glass Personal Scale • 1 Type CR2032 3V lithium coin cell battery • 1 Instruction manual
The packaging can be reused or recycled. Please dispose properly of any packaging material no longer
required. If you notice any transport damage during unpacking, please contact your dealer without
delay.

4 Prerequisites for correct measuring results

Reliable measurements can only be achieved under certain prerequisites:
• Always weigh yourself under the same conditions.
• Always weigh yourself at the same time of day.
• Stand up straight and stand still.
• Weigh yourself preferably in the morning, after showering or bathing, and with dry feet.
It is possible to obtain a reliable indication of body weight development from the results if measure-
ments are carried out consistently.

5 Insert/replace batteries

One button cell batterie (type CR2032) is already inserted in your new scale. The insulating strip must
be pulled out of the battery compartment
operated. Replace the batterie if the battery change symbol "LO" appears in the display

• Insert the batteries correctly, observing the polarity!
• Keep the battery compartment well sealed!
• Remove the batteries from the device if it is not going to be used for an extended period!
• Keep batteries out of children's reach!
