fingers through the curls.
For more natural looking curls, you can also
use the curling tongs hairdresser-style with
the clip closed. Hold the strand of hair by its
tip and wrap it in a spiral around the closed

Keep the hair wrapped around the curling
tongs for a few seconds to form the curl.
When the curl has formed, let go of the
strand of hair.
Tip: For a more modern look, don't wrap the
strand of hair starting at the roots, but leave
the first few centimeters straight.

Automatic shut-off
For safety reasons this appliance is
equipped with a two-stage automatic
s hut-off function.
■ The appliance switches automatically to
stand-by mode approximately 40 minutes
after it was switched on or after the tem-
perature selector was adjusted for the last
time. The display only shows READY.
■ The appliance switches off completely if
no button is pressed within approximately
15 minutes of the appliance switching to
stand-by mode. The display will go dark.
Note: To switch the appliance back on from
stand-by mode, press either the ON/OFF

or the temperature selector 2.
The appliance will start to heat up once
again.
If the appliance has switched off completely,
