CAMERA
You can take pictures with the integrated camera and
send them via MMS. You an easily take pictures of
subjects in front of you using the camera on the upper
folder. To take self-portrait pictures, you can simply
close the folder and access the camera menu long
pressing the camera side-key. In this case, the picture
will be displayed on the sub-LCD.
S5100 has a built-in 1.3M pixel digital camera, which
allows to take pictures at 1280x960 pixel (also
known as SXGA). The CMOS sensor allows high
quality pictures and additional functions as 4x digital
zoom (depending on the resolution), brightness and
white balance control, various effects and so on.
Through the integrated flash, you can take also
pictures in low light conditions.
• Taking pictures with open folder
1. Select Camera. To directly access to this menu,
long press the camera side-key from stand-by
mode.
2. Center you subject on the viewfinder and press the
OK key or the camera side-key to take the photo.
3. If you want to save the picture, select the disk icon.

After taking a picture, the following option window
appears:

: Send the picture through MMS. Only pictures
below 100KB can be sent through MMS.

: Store the pictures in the Photo album.

: Delete the photo.
To change the camera settings, press the left soft-key
. Use the left/right directional keys to scroll the
various options and press OK to change them,
following the indications described below:
