PROGRAMMING THE STB-051
Once the IPTV receiver is installed, we can proceed with its configuration.
By default the STB-051 is shipped with a network configuration of DHCP and in interactive mode
(ready to interact with the ALCAD IPTV Solution server). Depending on the type of installation, the
STB-051 will be configured in interactive or non-interactive mode
Programming for Interactive mode installations:
With the IPTV server previously configured, turned on, and connected to the IPTV network:
• Connect the STB-051 to a switch in the IPTV network using an Ethernet cable.
• Connect the STB-051 to your TV via an HDMI cable.
• Turn on the TV.
• Turn on STB-051.
• Follow steps on screen to register the STB-051 in ALCAD IPTV Solution system with the remote control.
• Alternatively, you can register the STB-051 directing in the web interface of ALCAD IPTV Solution Manager.
After registering the STB-051, you can find out the IP of the STB-051 in the IPTV Manager. Refer to
next section for options available for additional settings.
Programming Noninteractive mode installations
Since STB-051 is preconfigured from the factory in DHCP and in interactive mode, the configuration
must be performed in local mode with remote control . Subsequently, you can access the IPTV re-
ceiver via the LAN to reprogram or check operating status.
• Connect the STB-051 to the TV by HDMI cable.
• Turn on the STB-051.
• With the remote control, press the menu button
