Interrupt Feature (MIX LEVEL)
With an Alpine navigation system connected to
the IVA-C800R, the voice guidance of the
navigation system will be mixed with the radio or
CD/MD play. You can adjust the volume level of
the voice guidance.
If you use this unit connected to an external audio
processor, use the built in amplifier. You cannot
use this function with an external amplifier.
Immediately after inputting titles or changing the
settings of Initialize Mode or Display Mode (While the
system is inputting the titles or data automatically) do
not turn the ignition key (engine key) to OFF.
Otherwise, the title may not be written, or the
settings may not be changed.
Press the SOURCE button.
The main menu screen appears on the display.
Press the 6 (INTLZ) button.
The Initialization mode screen appears.
Rotate the rotary encoder and select "MIX
LEVEL."
The Function Guide is displayed.
Press the 2 (DOWN) or 3 (UP) button to
adjust the volume level of the navigation
system's voice guidance in 7 steps.
To turn off the navigation interrupt mode, press
the 1 (OFF) button.
Press the FUNC (RETURN) button to return to
the main menu screen.
Note: The volume level of the audio will be
automatically reduced when the voice
guidance of the Navigation system
starts. If the volume level of the audio is
set at the level 9 or lower, the volume
level of the audio will not be reduced.
If you adjust the volume level of the audio
while the audio is being interrupted by the
voice guidance and the volume level is
set at the level 9 or lower, the volume
level of the audio will be automatically
changed to the adjusted level when the
voice guidance starts next time.
