5. Usage
Keep the fan in an appropriate location and connect the device to a properly in-
stalled power socket. Insert 2x AAA batteries into the remote control. Pay attention
to the correct polarity of the contacts.
Press the "OSC" button on the remote control or on the fan, to enable the
oscillation. Press the "ON" button on the remote control or on the fan, to switch
the fan on. Press the "SPEED" button on the remote control to adjust the speed
of the fan.

Auto display off function
The display is shown for 20 seconds and goes out until it is woken up again by
pressing any button on the remote control or the fan.
Buzzer on/off function
The buzzer is switched on/off by pressing the „MODE" button on the remote
control or on the fan for three seconds. The setting is retained until it is adjusted
again manually or when the power supply is disconnected (e.g. the mains plug is
pulled out of the socket or there is a power failure).
