chemicals or objectionable matter that might have been in your water are
flushed to drain.
C
After reverse osmosis, your water passes through the first stage of the
dual purpose biofilter, which provides a physical barrier against water-
borne viruses.
D
Filtered water then collects in a large, clean storage tank until it is needed.
E
When you open your special drinking water tap, water leaves the storage
tank and travels through the next stage of protection, the MACguard
(part number 9307A). The MACguard Filter uses activated carbon to
remove nearly 100 percent of volatile organic compounds (VOCs result
from the reaction of chlorine with organic matter), as well as any remaining
objectionable tastes and odors.
F
Your water then passes through the second stage of the biofilter, which
provides a physical barrier against bacteria that may be present.
G
The final stage of protection is a lead-free tap used exclusively for dispensing
your purified drinking water. With this quality tap, you can be sure that
lead will not find its way back into your drinking water.
