For the MP5 to successfully store its state, you have to switch it off holding the
ON/ OFF button.

Your MP5 Energy™ plays many video formats without recoding, and AVI files
compressed with XVID (MP2 audio). Convert your videos using Energy Movier to
ensure compatibility.
9. Why the system does not respond when I press an icon?
You should recalibrate the touch-screen (see "BATTERY POWER AND TOUCH
SCREEN CALIBRATION").
10. The FM-Transmitter seems to have too short range.
Keep in mind that the earphones act as antenna to improve both FM transmission
and reception. Check out the FM-TRANSMITTER section of the users manual to
make a good use of this function.
11. Sometimes the screen turns black and the player does not respond.
Make sure that the TV OUT is not activated, since it deactivates the player screen.
In the user manual you can find the ways to active/deactivate the TV OUT function.
If you do not have access to a TV set right now, use the power switch to reinitiate
the player.
