1. Locate the module containing the power supply unit (see
Fig. 3.2); using a Phillips screwdriver, open the
connection
connectors (Fig. 3.5).
2. Connect the flat cables attached to the modules to the
electronic board connectors (Fig. 3.3, Fig. 3.4) housed in
the connection compartment.
Try connecting the cables to the connectors in an orderly
manner by using the ducts found on the back of the
scoreboard for connecting the modules furthest away.
The order in which you connect the cables is not
important. Each cable can be connected to any of the 6
available connectors.
3. After connecting all the modules, close the connection compartment.

Connecting power cords and data cables
The following connectors are found
inside the power supply unit (see Fig.
3.5):
a) "POWER_SUPPLY" socket for the
power cord.
b) "SERIAL_DATA_INPUT"
connecting the serial cable of the
Control Console.
c) Two
"SERIAL_DATA_OUTPUT"
ports that redistribute the data
coming from the Console. These
output ports are useful for making
connections to other nearby FS
series boards, as for example, to
sideboards displaying player fouls.
The output ports can also be used
for connecting boards in cascade
which are mounted on an adequate
four-sided support structure and centrally located in a sports facility.
Proceed as follows.
