Nozzle
Maintenance
A puHsing sensation
feHt whiHe squeezing
the spray gun
trigger
may be caused
by excessive
pump
pressure.The
principaH
cause of excessive
pump
pressure
is a nozzHe
dogged
or restricted
with
foreign
materiaHs_ such as dirt_
etc.To
correct
the probHem, immediateHy
dean
the nozzHe
foHHowing these
instructions:
H. Shut off engine and turn off water supply.
2.
Remove nozzHe from end of nozzHe extension.
3.
Remove
in=Hine filter
from
other
end of nozzHe extension.
4.
Use a smaHHpaper
chip to free any foreign
materiaH
dogging
or restricting
nozzHe (Figure
H8).
5_
Use wire here
to remove
debris.
Using a garden
hose, remove
additionaH debris by bacH<
flushing water through
nozzHe extension
(Figure H9).
BacH<flush between
30 to 60 seconds.
6.
ReinstaHH nozzHe and in=HinefiHter into nozzHe extension.
7.
Reconnect
nozzHe extension
to spray gun.
8.
Reconnect
water
supply, turn on water, and start engine.
9.
Test pressure
washer
by operating
with each quick
connect nozzHes.

Kit, part
number
H9H922GS
by contacting
the
nearest
authorized
service
center.
It is not
incHuded
with
the
pressure
washer.This
kit
incHudes
repHacement
o-rings,
rubber
washer
and water
inHet filter.
Refer
to the
instruction
sheet
provided
in the
kit
to
service
your
unit's
o-rings.
WARNING
NEVER repair
leaking connections
with sealant of any kind.
Replace
o-ring or seal

Changing

Oil
Change oiH every 50 hours or once yearly, whichever
occurs
first.
NOTE:You
must purchase
a premeasured
bottle
of pump
oil item number
H90585GS, by contacting
the nearest
authorized
service
center.
Change
pump
oil as follows:
I.
Drain engine oil and fuel from pressure
washer.
2.
Use a 8ram aHHen wrench
to remove
bHack pump oiH cap
between
high pressure
outlet
and garden
hose inHet
(Figure 20).
