4. Hydraulic connections of the motor pump
4.1 Water Intake Connection:
I installed the rubber seal between the
pump thread and the nipple, then
screwed the nut and firmly locked all
together.
Do not put Teflon or other sealing in
the thread, the nut has to go until the
rubber gasket makes the seal. If
Teflon is placed on the thread,
besides being useless we would be
making it difficult screwing the nut.
Insert the hose into the fitting and fix it with the clamp.
The right connection of the intake hose is relevant for the correct water intake of
the pump. Any small air intake between the connecting elements or in the hose
itself would harm the water aspiration, especially if water is aspirated in depth.
NOTE: For water aspiration use non deformable hoses only. They are usually
banded with PVC or metal and do not allow its stranglehold by depression. A soft or
deformable hose will be strangled with a depression caused by the pump aspiration
preventing the water passage and may cause damage to the equipment.
4.2 Connecting the water impulsion:
Follow the same procedure performed for aspiration on the discharge any type of
hose can be used if it resists the maximum pressure of the pump, being the most
common flat PVC hoses.
Use the hose with a pressure of 2BAR (working pressure)
