Power tool designation
This power tool is designed for conducting various
grinding operations (removal of burrs and sharp edges,
etc�) with corundum grinding attachments�
Speed adjustment enables use of a wide range of
grinding attachments, like grinding discs, polishing
discs, emery tapes, etc� Using additional attachments
and appliances widens the power tool application area�

Installation and regulation of power tool
elements
Before carrying out any works on the power tool it
must be disconnected from the mains.
Do not draw up the fastening elements
too tight to avoid damaging the thread�
Mounting of the collet chuck (see fig. 1-2)
• While holding spindle 2 with open spanner 6, un-
screw lock nut 1 with another open spanner 6 (see
fig. 1-2).
• Insert collet chuck 7 into the hole of the power tool
spindle 2�
• While holding spindle 2 with spanner 6, tighten lock
nut 1 by hand using no second open spanner 6�
Grinding attachment installation / removal
Make sure the grinding attachment
shank diameter corresponds to the inner
diameter of collet clamp 7.
• While holding spindle 2 with open spanner 6,
slacken lock nut 1 with another open spanner 6�
• Insert the grinding attachment shank in collet
chuck 7 (when removing remove the grinding attach-
ment shank from collet chuck 7)�
• While holding spindle 2 with open spanner 6, tighten
lock nut 1 with another open spanner 6 (when remov-
ing do not tighten lock nut 1)�
Do not tighten the lock nut 1 without
grinding tools.
Initial operating of the power tool
Always use the correct supply voltage: the power sup-
ply voltage must match the information quoted on the
power tool identification plate.
Switching the power tool on / off
Switching on:
Press the back part of on / off switch 4 and while holding
it in this position, move on / off switch 4 forward� Press
the front part of on / off switch 4 to fix it in pressed
position�
Switching off:
Push the back part of on / off switch 4�
Design features of the power tool
Speed selector thumbwheel
Using speed selector thumbwheel 5, you may select
the required spindle speed (also during operation)�
The required speed is dependent on the material and
can be determined with practical trials�
