Warning!Specialised personnel must
carry out the installation.
The hood must be connected to the mains
supply by qualifi ed and trained technicians.
When installing the product, it is
recommended to keep a minimum distance
of 400mm between the worktop and any
components laid on top of the hood.
This is to let the suction panel move
upwards (opening) and downwards
(closing) without any obstacles, and to
facilitate access to the hood controls on the
panel.
WARNING: Put the metal box contain-
ing the electronic components at a
distance not shorter than 65 cm from
the gas hob or 65 cm from the hood
suction point.
RECOMMENDATION: We recommend
you to install the metal box containing the
electronic components at a distance of at
least 10 cm from the ground and suffi ciently
from all the sources of heat (e.g.: side of an
oven or hob).
In the case of Gas hobs, the following
requirements must be respected:
-
The hob total power must be lower than
or equal to 14.3Kw
-
The layout of the hob should have a
power no greater than 4650W of the
fi res adjacent to the downdraft.
-
The maximum power of single burner
in front of the downdraft must not be
higher than 3000W.
-
The minimum distance between
downdraft edge and hob edge must be
at least 50mm.
-
The minimum distance between the
hob edge and the biggest burner must
not be shorter than 191mm and the
maximum power allowed for the biggest
burner is 5000W.
-
The minimum distance between the hob
edge and the nearest burner must not
be shorter than 97mm.
-
The thickness between the hob base
and the external edge must not be
lower than 45mm.
-
It is important to fi x the box containing
the electric devices in such a position
that any gas leaks do not compromise
the safety of the appliance.
-
When the downdraft is used with gas
hobs, it is recommended to install hobs
provided with gas sensor.

4. MAINTENANCE
ATTENTION! Before performing any
maintenance operation, isolate the
hood from the electrical supply by
switching off at the connector and
removing the connector fuse.
Or if the appliance has been connected
through a plug and socket, then the plug
must be removed from the socket.
The cooker hood should be cleaned
regularly (at least with the same frequency
with which you carry out maintenance of the
fat fi lters) internally and externally. Clean
using the cloth dampened with neutral liquid
detergent. Do not use abrasive products.
DO NOT USE ALCOHOL!
Warning! Failure to carry out the basic
cleaning recommendations of the
cooker hood and replacement of the
fi lters may cause fi re risks. Therefore,
we recommend observing these
instructions.
The manufacturer declines all responsibility
for any damage to the motor or any
fi re damage linked to inappropriate
maintenance or failure to observe the above
safety recommendations.
