PREPARATION FOR USE

5.1

CHARGING THE BATTERY

Fully charge the battery before using the lamp for the first time.
Charge the lamp only when it is switched off.
1. Connect the micro-USB cable to the micro-USB charging port
and the power supply.
▶ The state of charge indicator lamp flashes green whilst the lamp is being
charged.
▶ Shut down the charging process when the state of charge indicator lamp lights
up continuously green.
2. Disconnect the lamp from the power supply.
NOTICE
▶ The lamp charging voltage of 5 V must not be exceeded.
6. OPERATION
6.1 OPERATING MODES OF THE LAMP
The lamp offers three operating modes:
▶ Operating mode 1: Main light (maximum light output up to 500 lm)
▶ Operating mode 2: Spotlight (maximum light output up to 120 lm)
▶ Operating mode 3: Main light and spotlight

WARNING
▶ Never look directly into the beam of light.
▶ Never shine the beam of light directly into the eyes of people or animals.
▶ When used in a commercial setting the users must be given instructions as
detailed in the accident prevention instructions.
6.2 SWITCHING THE MAIN LIGHT ON AND OFF
1. Turn the rotary switch steplessly in a clockwise direction to switch the main light
on.
▶ Turn the rotary switch clockwise to increase the brightness, anti-clockwise to
decrease the brightness.
2. Turn the rotary switch fully anti-clockwise to switch the main light off.
6.3 SWITCHING THE SPOTLIGHT ON AND OFF
1. Press the On/Off button to switch the spotlight on.
2. Press the On/Off button to switch the spotlight off.
