NEVER submerse the appliance in water or other liquids. Risk of electric

Do not set the corkscrew up in damp environments. If you do, moisture

could penetrate into the corkscrew. There will then be a risk of electric
shock!
Do not place the corkscrew in the immediate vicinity of water, e.g. by

bathtubs or swimming pools. Ensure that no liquids can permeate into the
corkscrew when it is in use.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you clean the corkscrew by placing

them in, or holding them under, water! If you do, there is the risk of receiving
an electric shock!
Do not place the corkscrew at locations which are exposed to direct solar

radiation. Doing so may cause the corkscrew to overheat and become
irreparably damaged. There is also the risk of fire!
Do not place the corkscrew in the immediate vicinity of sources of heat. This

includes ovens, heating fans and similar appliances as well as ventilation
openings of other electronic appliances. Do not place open flame sources -
such as burning candles - in the immediate vicinity of the corkscrew and
charger. Doing so may cause the corkscrew to become irreparably
damaged. There is also the risk of fire!
CAUTION: Corkscrew is sharp. Handle carefully. Keep hands and utensils out of
the container while operating to prevent the possibility of severe personal injury
and/or damage to the product or property.

Before Use
1. Take the corkscrew and the foil out of the carton and remove all packaging
material.
2. Install 4 x 1.5V batteries type AA in the battery compartment observing
polarity.
