With the purchase of this protein skimmer, you have selected a top quality product. It has been specifically
designed for aquarium use and tested by professionals. This unit will effectively remove organic substances from
your aquarium water.
Adjustable skimmer for the sump
We offer the power flotor skimmer in three different sizes: S for aquaria up to 300 litres, M for aquaria up to
400 litres, L for aquaria up to 500 litres.

1. Product description
The power flotor skimmer consist of the following parts:
- conical reaction pipe
- foam cup and lid
- adjustable venturi pump incl. Aqua Medic needle wheel
- an adjustable outlet
- silencer
- air hose for venturi pump
2. Principle of operation
The skimmer with venturi pump has to be placed in a separate filter tank. The water is pumped to the skimmer
by the venturi pump. The pump draws water from the filter tank and mixes it with air. Within the pump housing,
the bubbles are cut into very fine pieces by the Aqua Medic needle wheel. The air/water mixture is pumped back
into the skimmer. The treated water flows through the outlet out of the skimmer back into the filter tank.

4. Venturi pump
The DC Runner series of magnetically coupled centrifugal pumps are very quiet in operation. They have fully
encapsulated synchronous motors. All materials are saltwater resistant. The polished ceramic shaft and bearing
is practically wear-resistant, ensuring a long operating life. The pumps can easily be taken apart for cleaning.
The direction of the rotation is controlled electronically. This enables a very efficient operation.
