Temperature measurement of forced ventilation systems (HVAC)
1. Activate the white LED external illuminator function (see § 5.1).
2. Press the T key to activate measurement. The laser pointer and the symbol "
appear on the display.
3. Direct the white light beam (see Fig. 3 – part 1) out of the ventilation system (see Fig.
19) and carry out measurement as described above.

Detection of dispersion of refrigerating agent in car engines and HVAC systems
1. Activate the "UV" (Ultraviolet) function with blue LEDs (see § 5.1).
2. Press the T key to activate measurement. The laser pointer and the symbol "UV"
appear on the display.
3. Direct the blue light beam (see Fig. 3 – part 2) onto the engine unit (see Fig. 20). The
light will reveal the presence of dispersion of refrigerating agent. Carry out
measurement as described above.
